I came across this question whilst ironically consuming content!
It was a question asked by the author of ‘Mind To Matter – The Astonishing Science Of How Your Brain Creates Material Reality’, Dawson Church.
Before Church’s career as a scientist he was a book publisher, and took it upon himself to look for the commonalities of best-selling authors…
He said, “Reflecting on that question changed the direction of my life!”
He noted that one of the most common elements was that the very successful mostly concentrated on creating content. They were much more interested in producing information than on consuming it…
They certainly do watch videos and read occasionally, but tend to spend more of their time pouring information out of their consciousness than sucking it in to their consciousness!
The flow of words and images tends to be from the inside out, not the outside in.
Most people are passive, like I have been in the past they tend to take information in – this is an issue because the information they consume influences their belief system, their actions, and ultimately their results.
As Church shows throughout his excellent book, to really succeed, get your content out in the world…
